ZEN-NOH (National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations) or a national business organization of agricultural cooperatives in Japan made an announcement on December 6 that it will establish a cooperative corporation with Enviro Tech Chemical Services, Inc., a chemical manufacturer based at Modesto in California, USA, and Ozu Corporation at Chuo ward, Tokyo, a marketing company of nonwoven fabric materials.
The new company will be engaged in imports and sales of peracetic acid known as PAA, which is used to disinfect agricultural and livestock products. PAA is a non-residual compound.
ZEN-NOH plans to expand its export business of Japanese farmers’ agricultural products by strengthening its food safety system keeping them fresh longer with PAA.
The new company named “Enviro Tech Japan” will set up its business with a starting capital of 100 million yen. Enviro Tech Chemical Services and Ozu Corporation respectively hold 45 percent of the capital, and the rest is held by ZEN-NOH.
Enviro Tech Japan starts its business at an office located at Chuo ward in Tokyo in January 2017. The stakeholders plan to reach the final agreement by the end of December.
The new company has also a future plan to produce PAA in Japan and export the products to countries in South-East Asia and other regions.
